Aston Martin is optimistic about points gains in the upcoming round in Singapore. The team is confident that the slow corners of the city circuit will suit their AMR22 cars.
Sebastian Vettel: “I have many fantastic memories of racing in Singapore – I have always enjoyed the challenges you have to overcome on this track. The city track forgives no mistakes, contains many turns and several fast sections. When everything is done right, you feel satisfied, especially in qualifying.
We should do better this weekend as the slow corners suit our car.”
Lance Walk: “The Singapore race has always been one of the toughest on the calendar, but I like the challenge, so I’m looking forward to getting back on track after a two-year hiatus.
After a difficult weekend in Italy, we are optimistic about our competitive position in the upcoming doubles. The next generation of cars should bring a lot of excitement to the Marina Bay circuit and I hope we can get back to the points. ”
