Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has revealed what he expects from the team during the Singapore Grand Prix race weekend…
Toto Wolff: “The break between races turned out to be longer than usual, but on the bases everyone was busy preparing for the end of the season. Let’s see what results hard work will bring.
We have made progress compared to the form we showed at the start of the season – the team played well. But it is necessary to continue in the same vein, learn and make the most of every opportunity.
Nice to be back in Singapore for the first time since 2019. The race weekend is unique because of the climate, the track configuration and the fact that we continue to live according to European time. Some features of the track suit our car better than the previous stages, but other features, such as bumps, can cause more problems. Learning more precisely about everything on Friday when we are on the track.
Before coming to Singapore, we visited our Petronas partners and announced the continuation of the cooperation beyond 2026. Our commitment to sustainable projects, both on and off the track, will be decisive in the coming years and will strengthen our already close collaboration.”
