Athletistic/Hockey. Louis Blues Russian forward Pavel Buchnevich became the first star in a preseason game between St. Louis and the Minnesota Wild that ended in a 4-2 win for the Blues.
Pavel opened the scoring in the 2nd minute and in the 12th he gave an assist to Jake Neighbours. Besides Buchnevich and Neighbours, Nathan Walker (31st) and Klim Costin (54th) scored goals for Saint-Louis. Mason Shaw (47′) and Tyson Jost (60′) scored for Minnesota.
The second star of the game was recognized as “St. Louis” goaltender Jordan Binnington, who defended the “zero” in the first and second periods of the game, making 11 saves. Third place went to striker Josh Livo, who collected two assists – to Buchnevich in the 2nd minute and to Neighbors in the 12th.
