CSKA goalkeeper Fedotov, drafted into the army, trains with the Navy team in St. Petersburg

25-year-old Fedotov, with the army team, won the Gagarin Cup last season and was also the main goalkeeper for the Russian team at the Silver Olympics in Beijing. In the summer he was taken to the army – to a military unit in Severodvinsk. Later, Fedotov refused to challenge the conscription case in court and also ended his relationship with a lawyer.

It is not yet known if Fedotov will compete at the military championship level, but he is already training on the ice.

Previously, CSKA President Igor Esmantovich denied in an interview with that he would change Fedotov’s rights. SKA vice-president Roman Rotenberg also avoided answering when asked whether his club would try to invite a goalkeeper.
