Athletistic/Hockey. The NHL’s press service has identified three stars for the upcoming game day. Two Russians were in the top three.

New York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin, who posted a shutout against the Rangers, was recognized as the first star. The goalkeeper saved 41 shots on goal and helped his side win 3-0.

The second star was Edmonton forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. In a match against “St. Louis” he scored the winning goal.

The third star was chosen by Russian “Tampa Bay Lightning” defender Mikhail Sergachev. The player scored the puck, which became his first this season, and also added an assist.
