The Italians opened the scoring in the 13th minute – defender Phil Pietroniro scored. However, the Italian team was then unable to oppose anything to the opponent and conceded six goals. Canada’s goals were scored by Travis Sanheim (16′), Josh Anderson (29′), Nicolas Roy (36′), Kent Johnson (38′), Daisin Mayo (43′) and Noah Gregor (55′).
The Canadian team with 6 points after two rounds leads the Group A standings. The Italian team, after two defeats, takes the last – 8th – place in the group.
