Athletistic/Hockey. Tampa Bay Lightning’s Russian goaltender Andrey Vasilevsky helped his team beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The win was Vasilevsky’s 53rd in 88 playoff games. The Russian beat former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford, who had 52 wins, to become one of the top 20 goaltenders in Stanley Cup games.
Vasilevsky is tied for 20th with Jerry Chivers, who also won 53 of 88 playoff games. The leaders in the standings are Patrick Roy (151 wins in 247 games), Martin Brodeur (113 in 205), Grant Fur (92 in 150) and Marc-André Fleury (92 in 167).
