The Russian will miss the NHL’s next regular season game with the New Jersey Devils, but he can recover for games with the Columbus Blue Jackets, which take place Nov. 4-5 in Finland.

Nichushkin scored 12 points (7 goals + 5 assists) at the start of the NHL season.
