A hat-trick in the match was scored by Yevgeny Abajyan. Forward Berserkov opened the scoring in the first period. In the second 20-minute period, Evgeny scored twice more, once – in the minority.
Berserkers get the second victory in the season, both Kharkiv team got it from HC Kyiv. In their opening match of the Ukrainian Championship Kharkiv Berserkers snatched victory in overtime.
