Gusev beat Kovalchuk to become SKA’s all-time top scorer

Offensive S.K.A. Nikita Gusev became the top scorer in the history of the St. Petersburg club.

On Wednesday, November 2, in the Fonbet KHL Championship match against Sochi (5:2), Gusev scored 2 (1+1) points. This allowed him to circumvent Ilya Kovalchuk and become SKA’s all-time top scorer. In 320 games, the 30-year-old forward scored 371 points.

SKA extended their winning streak in the KHL to 8 games. The club with 49 points leads the KHL Western Conference standings. In the next game, SKA will host Metallurg Magnitogorsk on November 5.
