“Pittsburgh is my second hometown. I have lived here for 16 years.
I want to stay here. I want to play in the NHL… I hope to stay here. I hope to retire here,” Malkin was quoted by the Penguins press office as saying.
This season, Evgeny has played 41 regular season games and scored 42 points. In the playoffs, he has six (3+3) points in seven games.
Earlier it became known that “Pittsburgh” cannot yet agree with Malkin on a new deal.
