The Canadian club has already discussed with “Washington” a possible exchange of hockey players.
Dadonov didn’t score a single point in eight games with the Canadiens, posting a -3 utility score.
Recall that during the last offseason, the 33-year-old Russian forward was traded from the Vegas Golden Knights to Montreal for 36-year-old Canadian defender Shea Weber.
