Washington Capitals forward Beck Malensteen will miss six to eight weeks recovering from a finger injury.
Malensteen injured his left finger in the first period of an NHL regular season game against the Vegas Golden Knights (2:3 OT). The forward blocked a shot on goal and couldn’t continue the game.
