November 10-13 in Budapest, Ukraine will play at the international tournament named after Tamas Sharkozy
Main coach Ukrainian national ice hockey team Vadim Shakhraichuk commented on the participation of the national team in the upcoming Tamas Sharkozy International Tournament,
“We will go to every match with one goal: to demonstrate modern aggressive hockey. We want to show our opponents that we are already capable of returning to the 1A division. And of course, we will do everything to win.”
“Our fans, all Ukrainians deserve these little joys. Everyone in the national team understands thanks to whom we have the opportunity to represent Ukraine in the international arena, to be abroad, to train, play, hold a national championship. If it weren’t for our warriors, who are successfully holding back the enemy on the southeastern borders, we wouldn’t be up to hockey right now.”
The event will take place in Budapest on November 10-13. As part of the group stage, Ukraine will play with Italy (November 10) and Slovenia (November 12). Hungary, France and Japan will meet in the second group. On November 13, the final, the match for 3rd place and the match for 5th place will be held. The application of the national team included 25 hockey players.
In May, the team of Vadim Shakhraichuk took third place in the IB division of the World Championship, in which they will perform next year.
