As it became known from “”, the hockey player “Salavat Yulayev” Rodion Amirov is being treated at a medical center in Skolkovo on Thursday, the striker received a visit from representatives of the Ufa club.
In February, Amirov, who was then 20, was diagnosed with a brain tumor, the player underwent chemotherapy courses. On Tuesday, the hockey player’s agent Dan Milstein said the Toronto forward, hired by Salavat Yulaev, returned to Russia but was unable to start training because he was undergoing additional treatment.
Amirov is currently in Moscow, undergoing treatment at a clinic in Skolkovo. On Thursday, he received a visit from representatives of Salavat Yulaev: general director Rinat Bashirov, executive director Alexander Kurnosov, sports director Vasily Chizhov, as well as agents Milshtein and Stanislav Romanov. They all expressed their support for the 21-year-old hockey player.
