Athletistic/Hockey. Hockey club “Spartak” has chosen a new head coach. The team was led by Igor Grishin.
The agreement with the 56-year-old specialist is calculated until the end of the season with an extension option. He replaces Boris Mironov, who was dismissed on November 10.
The red and white after the resignation of Mironov beat CSKA Moscow in the KHL regular season game, breaking a six-game losing streak.
Spartak is eighth in the Western Conference standings with 29 points in 30 games.
