The Russian junior ice hockey team defeated the Belarus youth team in the League of Stakes Cup of the Future international tournament match.
The meeting took place in St. Petersburg and ended with the score 5:3. Pucks among the winners were thrown by Mikhail Gulyaev, Igor Chernyshov, Mario Patalaha, Maxim Velikov and Timur Mukhanov. Stepan Zvyagin, Arseniy Sazanovich and Miroslav Mikhalev scored among the Belarusians.
Russia’s youth and junior teams scored three points each. The youth teams of Belarus and Kazakhstan have no points. All teams have played one match in the tournament.
In the next match, the Russian youth team will meet the country’s youth team, and the Belarus youth team will play with their peers from Kazakhstan. Both meetings will take place on 15 November.
