The Kontinental Hockey League has announced the head coaches of the teams for the 2022 KHL All-Star Game, according to the league’s website.
The head coach of the Bobrov division team will be Romain Rotenberg (SKA), coach of the Tarasov division team – Sergei Fedorov (CSKA), the Chernyshev Division team will be led by Viktor Kozlov (“Salavat Yulaev”), and the team of the Kharlamov division – Ilya Vorobiev (“Metallurgist”).
— I would like to thank everyone for their trust and support, participation in Hockey Stars Week is a great honor for everyone. First of all, it’s a merit of the whole team, thank you all!
I’ve been to every KHL All-Star Games, the game in Red Square was the most memorable. Now, for the first time, I will come to Star Week as a coach.
Chelyabinsk has a great history of hockey, this city gave birth to many legendary players and coaches: Bykov, Makarov, Babinov, Shuvalov. The fans there love and understand hockey. By the way, in 2013 I was in Chelyabinsk at the All-Star Game. Everything went well then, but now I’m sure it will be even better! I expect the stands to be full. See you later! Rotenberg said.
The 2022 KHL All-Star Game will take place December 10-11 in Chelyabinsk.
