“I think it’s a shame when Russian hockey people don’t have an alternative. We need fresh blood. At the moment we are stagnating. Terrible performances in competitions and complete regression” , Fetisov said.
Tretyak was re-elected as leader of the federation in May 19 elections. He was the only candidate. It should be noted that Tretyak has held this position since 2006.
