But when all options failed, it was decided to bet on a coach from his headquarters, so Dmitry Ryabykin, who worked as Hartley’s assistant for four years, had a chance. Skabelka became Barys’ head coach. Volkov also recruited a new coaching staff for the Falcons: Konstantin Kurashev, Oleg Mikulchik, Sergei Zvyagin, Anton Kuryanov.
But when Avangard failed to start the championship, Volkov was tasked with preparing plan B. At the same time, the club gave him carte blanche. Mikhail Kravets was invited to Avangard headquarters on the initiative of Krylov and club adviser Rashid Khabibullin. In this regard, Kurashev was fired, while last year he led the agricultural club Omsk Wings.
Then Volkov decided to fire Rybykin, and he offered to make Kravets the interim head coach, and also hired head coach Vyacheslav Uvaev as an assistant. All his decisions were approved by the club’s management.
