Our hockey players lost to the Polish Union
HC Kremenchuk started with a defeat in the semi-final round Continental Cup in Slovak Nitra.
In the first match of the group, the Ukrainians lost to the Polish Union. At the same time, Kremenchuk won the first period thanks to Serednitsky’s puck.
With the score 1:3, the Ukrainians reduced the backlog to a minimum (Lalka scored the puck). But in the last minute of regular time, they conceded in the minority and eventually lost 2:4.
Tomorrow Kremenchuk will play against Slovak Nitra. The third opponent in the group is the Italian Asiago.
Qualifications to the Continental Cup Final Four will go to the top two teams, with the grand final taking place on January 13-15, 2023.
