First Vice-President, Director of MagnitogorskMetallurgist Sergey Laskov says the club won’t save room for the Pittsburgh striker Evgenia Malkina however, they will consider this issue if the hockey player wants to return to Russia.
Malkin graduated from Magnitogorsk hockey.
– Will we be happy to see Malkin in our team? Yes, but he is a grown boy, he will determine for himself.
So, to save him a spot – well, probably not, because Zhenya has already announced that he wants to end up in Pittsburgh. Besides, he still has a contract. And so we decide. When he arrives, we will fix the problem,” said Laskov, as quoted by the “Championship”.
Malkin has been with the Penguins since 2006. With the team, the 36-year-old forward became a three-time Stanley Cup winner.
