Kazakh “Barys” signed a contract with a defender Alexander Grant reports the press service of the Astana hockey club.
The unilateral contract with the 33-year-old Canadian is calculated until the end of the season.
Grant has been playing in the KHL since 2018. He spent four seasons at Jokerit, and this summer he moved to SKA St. Petersburg, where he scored one goal and five assists in 16 games.
Barys is ninth in the Eastern Conference table with 30 points in 33 games.
