The head of the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine is not satisfied with the composition of the new Olympic Committee.

Another newly elected member of the National Olympic Committee has applied to withdraw from the organization.

The President of the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine, Georgy Zubko, announced his disagreement with the composition of the NOC

“I have applied for expulsion from NOC members.

It is an honor to continue to represent the interests of hockey development in the Ukrainian Olympic movement, but not in such a composition and not under such circumstances.

My decision was uncompromising for several reasons.

First, out of respect for those at the front, our country is literally being cleansed of traitors and enemies.

And the second, and perhaps more encouraging, is that our society will not swallow such a precedent. No revenge on old faces.

I think each of us has promised to do everything to restore our country. Friends, the time has come.

The NOC needs clear and fair re-election. And we need firm faith in a brighter future. Everything will be fine,” Zubko wrote.

Recall that earlier, due to the inclusion in the NOC of many ex-deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life and the Party of Regions, Andrey Shevchenko, Zhan Beleniuk, Andrey Kozhemyakin and Yevgeny Pronin left the organization.
