Edmonton bounced back with five seconds left in regulation to beat Florida in overtime

Florida “missed the victory over”Edmonton (3:4 OT) in the NHL regular season game.

The guests opened the scoring after a shot from Matthew Tkachuk, but the Oilers then took the lead on goals from Connor McDavid and Tyson Barry. In the third period, Anton Lundell and Brandon Montour again gave Florida the lead.

Five seconds before the siren, Evan Bouchard turned the game into overtime, where after another 22 seconds, Leon Draisaitl scored the Oilers victory.

Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky did not take part in the game, teammate Spencer Knight, an American, saved 36 shots on his own goal.

“Edmonton” Russian forward Klim Kostin spent 6.5 minutes on the ice and scored three shots.

With 24 points, Florida is 9th in the Eastern Conference, Edmonton has the same number of points and is 7th in the West.
