Athletistic/Hockey. Washington Capitals coach Peter Laviolette has reacted to Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin’s record.

In the NHL regular season game with the Vancouver Canucks, the 37-year-old forward scored twice and became the NHL’s all-time leading scorer in road games.

“Of course he is our leader. We knew we had to play well in the first half, to show a good game. You need the best players to do that. Ovi always plays very well and does it at a high level,” Lavioletta cites The Athletic.
