CSKA missed victory over Torpedo, leading twice in the encounter

Moscow CSKA lost to Nizhny NovgorodTorpedo (2:4) in the Fonbet KHL Championship game.

The Army team took the lead thanks to Semyon Pankratov’s puck, the guests bounced back from Igor Larionov’s shot midway through the second period. Soon CSKA regained the lead – Konstantin Okulov scored.

In the third period, Torpedo managed to score three unanswered goals and snatch victory – Nikolai Kovalenko scored (twice, including into an empty net) and Kirill Voronin.

CSKA failed to regain second place in the Western Conference – with 53 points, Muscovites are behind Lokomotiv (54). Torpedo is 4th in the West with 49 points.
