Ukrainian U-20 national team announced an application for the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championship

The tournament starts on December 11 in Bytom, Poland

National team of Ukraine U-20 announced a bid for the upcoming World Cup 2022 hockey, which will be held in Bytom, Poland.

Ukraine plays in division 1B, where Italy, Poland, Estonia, Korea and Japan will become its rivals. The application of Alexander Bobkin’s team included 22 hockey players.

Ukraine U-20 squad:

Goalkeepers: Gleb Artsatbanov (Sparta U20, Czech Republic), Savva Serdyuk (Falcon).

Defenders: Pavel Atamanchuk (Steirmark U20, Austria), Vladimir Volkov (Slovan U20, Slovakia), Alexey Dakhnovsky (Corpus Christi IceRays, NAHL, USA), Arseniy Kiselev (Herning U20, Denmark), Artem Portnoy (Dnepr), Vladislav Sushkov ( Eisadler Dortmund, Germany), Vladimir Troshkin (Servette-Geneva U20, Switzerland), Ivan Shamardin (Germany).

The 2022 U-20 World Championship in division 1B will take place from 11 to 17 December. In the first match on Sunday, the Ukrainian team will play with Italy.
