Ukrainian national ice hockey team went to the Tri-Nation Tournament.

The blue-yellows’ application included 22 hockey players. From the initial list, the coaching staff of the national team weeded out goalkeeper Kirill Kucher, defender Dmitry Ignatenko, as well as forwards Ilya Senik, Vasily-Yuri Kachan, Nikita Lesnikov, Dmitry Poperezhay and Daniil Tishchenko.

There was also one castling among legionnaires. Instead of injured striker Mikhail Guft-Sokolov, Mikhail Chikantsev was called up to the camp of the national team.

As part of the Eurochallenge, the team of Vadim Shakhraichuk will play against the French (December 15, 20:00 Kyiv time) and the Poles (December 16, 20:00). Another match – December 14 against the French team (16:30) – will have the status of a control.

Recall that after the Eurochallenge in Marseille, Ukraine will hold a tour of Canada “Hockey Can’t Stop Tour”. Base dates are from December 31st to January 10th.
