Athletistic/Hockey. Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis believes Wayne Gretzky will be with the team as Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin nears Canada’s NHL scoring record.
“Gretzky promised to be in every game when Ovechkin was close to his record. He said he wanted to fly with us and be in every game.
In the last season, when the record is in sight, it will probably pass with us,” quotes ESPN Leonsis.
To break Gretzky’s record, the 37-year-old Russian has 97 goals to score.
