Athletistic/Hockey. SKA St. Petersburg striker Matvey Michkov has admitted he wants to break Nikita Kucherov’s MHL scoring record among hockey players under the age of 17.

In February, Michkov had an accurate shot in the MHL match with Spartak and scored the 55th (37+18) point of the season. Thus, the athlete came to the top of the table of scorers in the MHL under 17. Michkov managed to break Nikita Kucherov’s record, which stood for 11 years.

“The agent rejected the information that there is such a record. I tried to help the team, I wanted to score in every game to be useful, but I also wanted to break the record,” RIA Novosti quotes Michkov.
