The highlight of the gala evening was the congratulations from players and fans performed by rapper LJ. The famous Siberian appeared spectacularly at the stadium in a filling machine and performed his hits.
After her performance, the “History of HC Siberia” light show began. Using lasers and projections, fans were able to see all the logos and mascots the team had had for 60 years, as well as chronicle images with the most important moments in the club’s history. A unique feature of the show was the controllable LED wristbands – over 6,000 wristbands supported each element of the show. Spectators at the stadium, wearing bracelets on their arms, took part in the spectacle organized by partner friends – the betting company Winline.
In honor of the anniversary, the players received a new kit in the retro style of the early 1980s – it was then that the club logo in the form of a snowflake appeared. Well-known blogger and jeweler Mozi J, who is called the main jeweler of the Russian rap scene, especially on the 60th anniversary, encrusted the Jubilee jersey 4329 with precious stones. The jeweler presented this shirt to the director of the club – Kirill Fastovsky.
The game itself was preceded by a game of Novosibirsk hockey veterans, which was attended by local legends and names familiar to all Siberian fans – Lev Krutokhvostov, Yegor Milovzorov, Konstantin Alekseev, Dmitry Zatonsky, Sergey Klimovich and others. The poster for this meeting was made in a recognizable Soviet style, and Viktor Kartavyh, the author of the first puck in the history of the club, became the coach of one of the teams.
Another native of Novosibirsk, cosmonaut Anna Kikina, who is now on the ISS, addressed Siberians directly from orbit: “I cordially congratulate the Siberian hockey club of my hometown on the occasion of the 60th anniversary. Throughout the day, the stadium was packed with entertainment areas and sporting attractions, with local artists and creative teams performing. In the Winline brand area, jubilee club merchandise and accessories were raffled off among fans, including a jubilee jersey and ring from Mozi J. An interesting tip for collectors was the drawing of bulbs from the old LDS “Siberia” dashboard.
The end of the anniversary night was the regular KHL championship game between Sibir and Severstal. “Siberia” couldn’t win tonight and beat their opponents with the score 5:1.
