NHL: Leaders won, Detroit and Columbus broke their losing streak

The National Hockey League played 10 regular season games last night.

Colorado remains the leader of the NHL regular season. Last night, the Avalanches got their fourth straight win, this time beating the Pittsburgh fight 6-4.

Florida remains the only team claiming to take the championship from Colorado. The Panthers, who ranked first in the East, won for the fifth straight time, beating Toronto at home in overtime 7-6.

Notice also the victories of Detroit and Columbus, respectively, against Boston and Philadelphia. The Red Wings ended their six-game losing streak, while the Blue Jackets didn’t know the joy of winning seven games back then.
