At a December 9 meeting of KHL club leaders in Chelyabinsk, the league chief Alexei Morozov reported that two clubs had not reached the salary floor. According to the source, these clubs are Torpedo and Dynamo Minsk.
In the 2022/23 season, KHL regulations set the salary cap for hockey players of KHL clubs at 315 million rubles.
Torpedo takes 4th place in the KHL Fonbet Championship Western Conference standings, the Minsk club is 8th.
