Scheduled for Friday’s NHL regular season game between “Ottawa” and “Detroit” postponed to next year due to an expected snowstorm, according to the league’s website.
The meeting will take place on February 27.
“Despite the fact that we are forced to postpone the match, the safety of our players, fans, staff and those working in the arena is our top priority. Given the expected forecast, we have firmly decided that the best solution would be to postpone the game to February, said Ottawa president of business operations, Anthony LeBlanc.
Earlier it was reported that the game between Buffalo and Tampa was postponed due to a snow storm.
Detroit is 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with 35 points, while Ottawa is 14th with 30 points.
