Hockey player Altybarmakyan moved from Sochi to SKA following a trade

Offensive Andrei Altybarmakyan move from “Sochi” in S.K.A. as a result of an exchange for monetary compensation, reports the press service of the St. Petersburg club.

Altybarmakyan graduated from SKA and once played for the club. In the 2017/18 season, he became the KHL bronze medalist as part of the Saint Petersburg team.

In October 2018, the striker became a Sochi player. In April 2020, Altybarmakyan joined the Chicago Blackhawks system, but played for the Rockford Farm Club in the AHL (American Hockey League). For two seasons, the striker scored 43 points (15 goals + 28 assists) in 96 games. In the summer of 2022, the 24-year-old hockey player returned from North America to Sochi.

This season, SKA leads the Western Conference with 71 points in 43 games. Sochi (17 points in 40 matches) is in last place.
