“Now we have a program – ‘Red Machine’. To be honest, I don’t quite understand why we call ourselves that.
If we last won the Junior World Championship in 2007, then we are a ‘green’ machine, small,” YouTube channel Fetisov quoted Kovalchuk as saying.
During the 2022 Channel One Cup, Kovalchuk was an advisor to the coaching staff of the Russian national team.
