Edmonton became the first finalist in the NHL Western Conference. Last night, the Oilers beat Calgary 5-4 in overtime to win the series 4-1.

Meanwhile in the East, Carolina and the Rangers continue to figure out who will pair up with Tampa. The Hurricanes beat the New York representatives 3: 1 and took the series 3: 2.
