Nizhnekamsk”petrochemical signed a new contract with the striker Yevgeny Mityakin according to the official website of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The agreement with the 25-year-old hockey player is calculated until April 30, 2026.
The striker joined the club from Nizhnekamsk ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season. In the current Fonbet KHL Championship regular season, Mityakin played 43 games, scored 21 points (9 goals + 12 assists). Earlier in the league, the player defended the colors of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.
Neftekhimik has also extended the contract with defender Yevgeny Kashnikov until the end of the 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old hockey player has 6 points (2+4) in 42 games in the current regular season.
Neftekhimik sits last in the Eastern Conference standings with 39 points after 43 games.
