Cheeky”Sochi » Matvey Michkov said that the transition from the SKA system has become a new challenge for him in his professional career.

– 18th birthday, visor instead of mask, departure from St. Petersburg. Do you feel like your childhood is over?
— Of course, this is a new challenge for me. It’s good that I managed to make a full-fledged KHL debut for Sochi. I will do my best to make the team win.
— Before the lease in Sochi, you received a lot of playing time for SKA-Neva (in the VHL). Did it help you adapt?
“The transition has been really smooth. In the VHL, I also played against men. Of course, there is a speed difference with the KHL. We have to adapt to it, make decisions twice as fast,” Michkov said in an interview with Sport24.
