Ice Hockey World Cup. Czech Republic defeated USA, Canada lost to Denmark

The Danes edged out the Canadians in Group A

On Monday, May 23, four matches took place in Finland ice hockey world championship.

In group A Canada lost Denmark (2:3) and lost the chance to reach the quarterfinals from the first place. Kazakhstan won the first victory in the tournament, having dealt with Italy (5:2).

In group B Czech advanced to the quarter-finals with a minimal win USA (1:0), and Austria finished the match at the end Great Britain (5:3).

The final matches of the group stage, which will determine all the participants of the 1/4 finals, will take place tomorrow.
