Russian goalkeeper Tampa Bay Lightning Andrei Vasilevsky recognized as the National Hockey League’s (NHL) third regular season game of the day star.
In the game with the New York Rangers (2:1 B), the Russian saved 45 shots, and also made 4 saves in the shootout, which ended 2-1 in favor of Tampa.
The first star of the day was Florida Panthers forward Alexander Barkov, who scored three goals and provided two assists in a 7-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
The second was Ottawa Senators forward Alex Debrinkat, who scored twice in overtime against the Washington Capitals (4-3 OT).
