In the next match, the Swiss and Germans can decide the fate of the first place in group A

On Sunday, May 22, four matches of the sixth round took place in Finland ice hockey world championship.

In group A Germany minimally beat Kazakhstan (5:4) and Switzerland won France (5:2), yielding in the course of the game with a score of 0:2. The Swiss won their sixth match in a row and are close to reaching the quarter-finals from first place, the Germans are three points behind the leader.

In the next match, which will take place on May 24, Switzerland and Germany will play each other.

In group B Latvia snatched victory over Great Britain (4:3) and Sweden crushed Norway (7:1). The Swedes are second in the group, the Latvians are fifth, but still have a chance of reaching the playoffs.
