Our hockey players are preparing for the Universiade

Student national ice hockey team of Ukraine (U25) lost test match University of Saskatchewan – 0:2.

This was the first of four fights that the Ukrainian team will play in Canada in preparation for the Universiade 2023 in Lake Placid (USA).

The meeting in Saskatoon took place on the second day after the hard and protracted air flight of the Ukrainian team to Canada. The hosts had much more opportunities to score, but ex-goalkeeper Sokol Dmitry Kubritsky (25 saves) played reliably at the last frontier, who was recognized as the best player of the match in the blue-yellow squad.

In the next match on January 3, Ukraine will play against the University of Calgary. The Winter Universiade 2023 starts on January 11.
