Ice Hockey World Cup: Fourth wins for Sweden and Switzerland, Norway beat Austria

The Swedes inflicted the first defeat on the vice-champions of the world from Finland

On Wednesday, May 18, the matches of the sixth day of competition took place in Finland at ice hockey world championship.

Norway beat Austria, a competitor in the fight for promotion from Group B.

France in a shootout inflicted the fourth defeat in a row on the Italians in the current championship.

Sweden achieved the highest possible fourth win in the group, beating reigning world vice-champions and tournament hosts Finland.

The fourth match at the world championship was also won by Switzerland, which inflicted a third defeat in a row on the team of Slovakia.

Tomorrow, May 19, the seventh game day at the World Cup starts with the UK-US and Germany-Denmark matches at 16:20 Kyiv time.
