SKA coach Rotenberg said he focuses on Znark in his job

Head Coach S.K.A. Romain Rotenberg says that in his work he focuses on Oleg Znarka and also expressed confidence that his experience will be in demand at the highest level.

Former Russian national team coach Znarok celebrates his 60th birthday on Monday.

“With Oleg Valeryevich we have come a long and glorious path – we have won the Gagarin Cup, the Olympics, world championship medals. Years of working together have enriched me with incredible experience, and our joint achievements will be forever remembered!

Oleg Valeryevich is one of those coaches I focus on in my work. He is famous for his ability to create very large teams.

With all my heart I wish Oleg Valeryevich good health, good mood, working mood and success in all endeavors! I am sure his experience and talent will always be in demand at the highest level of hockey,” Rotenberg wrote on the Telegram channel.

From 2014 to 2018, Znarok led the Russian national team, which under his leadership became world champions and Olympic champions. He led Dynamo Moscow (2012, 2013), SKA (2017) to the Gagarin Cup, was recognized as coach of the year in the KHL four times. Znark’s last workplace was the Ak Bars in Kazan.
