Athletistic/Hockey. Legendary Czech goalkeeper Dominik Hasek has spoken out about Russian “Washington Capitals” striker Alexander Ovechkin’s decision not to remove the photo with Russian President Vladimir Putin from his social media profile.
“He probably thinks it’s right. It’s his free decision. Under no circumstances should he be forced to do something that is against his beliefs.
The NHL must do what is in the interest of the democratic world and our fellow citizens. But the NHL doesn’t do that. By her actions, she supports Russia and its policies,” Hasek said.
