Czech striker “Detroit Red Wings” Yakuba Vranu weren’t picked up from the project with rejections, journalist Frank Seravalli reports on Twitter.
The 26-year-old hockey player was on the decline list on Tuesday, but not a single club was interested, so he will return to Detroit.
Previously, Vrana enrolled in the National Hockey League (NHL) Player Assistance Program for Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health for personal reasons and returned to the team in mid-December. Vrana has not played in the NHL since Oct. 15.
In the current NHL season, the hockey player played two games and scored 2 points (1 puck + 1 assist).
In 2018, Vrana won the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals.
