In addition, the famous hockey player expressed the hope that already in 2023 representatives of international federations will find a formula that will allow Russians to play in tournaments.
“There is some hope that a reasonable decision will be made on whether our guys can compete. It doesn’t matter what the status is, the main thing is that there is such an opportunity. The level of domestic competition is not an easy story. It’s not easy for me to say something and advise athletes, who are preparing for no clear reason,” admitted Fetisov, as quoted by TASS.
