Athletistic/Hockey. Russian striker “Washington” Alexander Ovechkin brilliantly showed himself in a match with the “Buffalo Sabers”.

The hockey player scored twice, scoring 808 goals during his career.

Immediately after the second goal scored, Alexander went to the front row in the stands, where his four-year-old son and a family friend sat. Ovi happily pointed his finger at his son, tapping his hand on the platform’s protective glass.

Ovechkin now has 28 goals this season. At the moment, in the sniper race of the current campaign, he is second only to Connor McDavid (33) and Tage Thompson (30).

Ovechkin is 86 goals behind Wayne Gretzky’s legendary record.

Gretzky won’t attend all Washington games until Ovechkin’s 895th puck

Here’s how NHL fans reacted to Ovechkin’s regular goals on social media:

knarf on a bike:
– We can’t stop him, even the guard can’t do anything…

DjokerNo1e:

Pythonian:
– Ovi has amazing abilities! No one will stop him.

– A historic achievement is within reach! Ovi will definitely break Gretzky’s record, but the only question is how many he can score in the end, as well as how many years he will hold the top spot.

– Ovi has been playing in the NHL for 18 years, but opponents always leave him alone in front of goal.

@PeteBlackburn:

– 5 years ago: Will Ovechkin get Gretzky?
1 year ago: Will Ovechkin get to Gretzky before Ovi turns 40?
Now: Well, will Ovechkin get Gretzky already this season?
